Quick warning, this video is long, like over 7 minutes long. I just wanted to give everyone a chance to peek over my shoulder while we go for canter down the beach, like all the way down the beach.
I think it’s a great way to check out the Noosa North Shore, you’ll see us canter almost from the first cutting to the Noosa river mouth.
Off in the distance and slowly getting bigger is Noosa main beach and the national park.
This was Australia Day, and the video starts just south of the first cutting. I would’ve started cantering earlier, but there was a group of people playing cricket on the beach, I thought it would be safer to walk around them first.
Anyway, while walking past, this really big guy filling up a camp chair with a beer for a microphone (the beach cricket umpire) starts singing Darryl Braithwaite‘s The horses.
It doesn’t get much more Australian than that.
